We are seeking a Senior Building Mechanical Engineer recognized for their ability to influence technical direction, supervise teams, and build strong relationships with our clients. Your Daily Impact
- Provide technical supervision, coordination, verification, and design for various building mechanical projects
- Collaborate within a team to deliver mechanical system design projects for different sectors (institutional, office, commercial, cultural, and residential) in building mechanics
- Establish contact with clients to understand their needs
- Conduct surveys of existing installations
- Analyze, design, and adapt building-related installations
- Prepare feasibility studies and various types of client reports
- Evaluate construction cost budgets and participate in the development of project schedules
- Draft specifications and technical reports
- Coordinate with external professionals from other disciplines
- Provide assistance for construction supervision
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (membership in Professional Engineers Ontario is considered an asset)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in building mechanical design and project management
- Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with AUTOCAD, REVIT, and Office 365 Suite.
- Excellent ability to perform technical analyses, propose innovative solutions, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines and fee budgets.
- Collaborative mindset and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relationships.
