Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead daily store operations in a premium specialty retail environment. The Store Manager is responsible for driving sales performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and managing all aspects of people leadership, operations, and store standards.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Act as the primary Manager on Duty, overseeing all store opening and closing procedures and holding full keyholder responsibility
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the store team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
  • Set performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support employee development
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture

Customer Experience

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional, personalized customer service
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns and returns professionally and efficiently
  • Represent company values and product excellence as a brand ambassador
  • Support growth of B2B sales by identifying potential business clients and coordinating corporate or bulk orders

Store Operations

  • Oversee all day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
  • Prepare and analyze sales performance reports and take action to drive results
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and labor optimization
  • Place and manage product orders to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Uphold health and safety standards and promote a strong culture of compliance

Visual Merchandising & Inventory

  • Ensure execution and compliance with visual merchandising standards
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving, and shrink prevention
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment

Cash & Financial Management

  • Oversee cash handling procedures, POS compliance, and daily bank deposits
  • Ensure accuracy in cash controls and adherence to financial policies

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7 to 10 years of retail management experience, preferably in specialty or premium retail or in a comparable leadership role
  • Strong sales leadership skills with a track record of driving KPIs
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with POS systems, cash management, and retail reporting
  • Solid understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising standards
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for premium retail and specialty food products
  • Bilingual in French and English
