Inside/Outside Sales Representative

Job Overview

Group NB, a leading staffing and recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain industries is currently hiring a Sales Representative in Gatineau, QC.

Conditions

• Salary: 30$ per hour
• Schedule: 5-6days a week (day off: Monday to Wednesday (if working 5 days per week))

Requirements

• Experience selling “premium” or “factory-direct” furnishings or mattress-specialty stores
• Ability to upsell add-ons (pillows, frames, foundations) beyond basic mattress sale
• Demonstrated ability to build repeat business / customer loyalty
• Comfortable with a retail-/showroom sales environment (mattresses, sleep products)
• Strong customer-service orientation: greeting customers, demonstrating product knowledge, following up
• Basic familiarity with payment/financing options (showroom sells factory-direct mattresses, offers financing)
• Proactive, reliable, punctual for shifts including weekends
• Comfortable with product demonstration: explaining mattress types, features, benefits, and warranties.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales experience, preferably in home-furnishings or bedding industry
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales/targets in a showroom or retail environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both languages
• Good presentation and closing skills: able to guide customer through a purchase-decision process
• Comfortable working with CRM or sales tracking tools (or willing to learn)
• Ability to recommend appropriate product based on customer needs.
• Some familiarity with product technical specs of the product you will be offering.
• Must be flexible with schedule: weekends, possibly evenings, sometimes travel between locations (Kanata ↔ Gatineau ↔ Orléans)
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transport may be beneficial (for travel between locations)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour
