Description

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Employee will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds of dental handpieces and related equipment as well as providing an excellent customer experience over the phone, in person or via email. Further tasks include invoice processing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

The Employee's duties shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds of dental handpieces.
  • Develop a maintenance schedule for in-house equipment and perform regular tests.
  • Enter orders into the ERP system, creating quotes and invoices with a high level of accuracy.
  • Generate and distribute repair reports and other documentation as required by the customer.
  • Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies used the repair of dental handpieces.
  • Answer customer calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of handpieces.
  • Track case progress and coordinate with other team members.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in dental equipment repair or related fields
  • Mechanical inclination and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Self-starter and results oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with employees and management
  • Ability to handle situations professionally with sensitivity, diplomacy and tact
